Bomb Farm Squad Planner
Name three docks, assign roles, and write the recovery order before Battle.
The squad planner is a paper tool for a three-team idle RPG. Steam says you can switch teams so the mine never stops. House says recovery speed and slots are upgrades. Players still ship one unnamed dock and wonder why 4 p.m. is quiet. Fill this page once, screenshot it, and tape it to the overlay.
Systems behind the boxes: energy, roles, squad tiers.
Step 0 — constraints
Write today’s world and star from the Map. If you write Inferno while Dawn Quarry is the pin, you already failed the planner. Progression is the adult in the room.
Write House facts: how many capsules are unlocked, whether recovery has been upgraded, whether you can even fill three docks. If the answer is no, the planner becomes “buy slots,” not “name mythical teams.”
Dock A — Farm
Goal: chests, sealed drops, gold while you work.
- Star: Easy or Normal only.
- Attackers (count): __
- Collectors (count): __ (target 2)
- Supports (count): __ (target 1)
- Specialists: __ (loot or magnet tooltips only)
- Wear +ranks on: the Collectors first
- Do not fuse: last Collector
If Collectors are zero, this is not a farm dock. Stop and read early-game tiers.
Dock B — Climb
Goal: move the Map pin.
- Star: the highest you can finish, not queue.
- Attackers (count): __ (target 3)
- Supports (count): __ (target 1)
- Specialists: __ (node-matching only)
- Collectors: at most 1
- Wear +ranks on: Attackers
- Swap back to A if the node takes forever
If this dock is identical to A, you do not have a climb dock.
Dock C — Spare
Goal: energy exists at 16:00.
- Whoever is left.
- Cheap +ranks only.
- No unique Specialist if A or B still needs them.
- Allowed to be ugly.
If C is empty, your House upgrade is the next Ritual. Not Inferno.
Rotation order
Write the clock you actually live:
- Morning: send __ (usually A)
- Lunch swap: park __, send __
- Evening Ritual: spend on wearers from gear, then __ goes to Battle
- Overnight: __ on Easy, pin on, Cloud on
If any line says “same dock all day,” you are not rotating. The store copy about three teams is not decoration.
Spend locks (circle one per week)
- House slots
- House recovery
- Ritual on A Collectors
- Ritual on B Attackers
- One skill tree lock node
- Nothing, because Battle is already moving
Circle two at most. Three is how gold evaporates and docks stay +0.
Fusion and Market gates
Before a fuse: is this the last copy of the role? If yes, stop. Fusion.
Before a listing: do A, B, and C all refuse the piece? If not, keep it. Market.
Weekly review
Once a week, rewrite the world/star line. If Deep Glacier opened, Collectors stay on A and Attackers on B get more +ranks. If a season post appears, check seasons before you delete C to fund a rumor.
The planner is done when the overlay never shows an empty dock while House still holds a ready squad. That is the only score. When it happens, go back to Battle and let the grid work. Tools that keep you typing instead of mining have failed the mine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Do I need three unique heroes per dock?
You need three docks with energy. Role mix matters more than unique names. See roles.
What if I only have one squad?
The planner collapses to "unlock House slots." Play Getting Started until a second dock exists.
Can I run farm and climb as the same mix?
You can. It is worse at both jobs. Squad tiers ranks dedicated mixes higher.
How often should I rewrite the planner?
When a world or star changes, or when fusion deletes a role. Weekly is enough.
